But her light was dimmed too soon by a battle with anorexia. Told from the perspective of her 84-year-old father, Victor, this poignant story reflects on parental regret as he seeks peace with his daughter's untimely fate.

Scotland's Game
The third episode of Scotland's Game, the series that tackles the last 30 years of Scottish football, turns the spotlight on the nation's performances and standing on the international stage. Three decades ago, the national team was a force to be reckoned with when it came to qualification for the major tournaments. Star players for the national team were feted and the country's appearances against the giants of world football in the European Championships and the World Cups were eagerly anticipated. But this episode charts the decline of the national team and examines the failings on and off the pitch that have marked this slide in fortunes. Contributors offer compelling insights into the high points that temporarily raised hopes and also into the darker moments of Scotland's international forays. They also give their thoughts on the structural and cultural reasons behind the downward trend and where improvements might be made. Among those interviewed are former players John Collins, Graeme Souness, Steven Pressley and Murdo MacLeod, ex-Scotland managers Alex McLeish, Andy Roxburgh and Craig Brown, historian Tom Devine and former first minister Henry McLeish.

On the way Paul hears tales of loggers who floated timber down the river from the 17th century onwards. He then takes to the water in a canoe and discovers the rare and endangered freshwater mussels that were once harvested for their precious pearls, which adorn royal crowns. Sampling a dram of the original water of life, Paul reaches the mouth of the Spey where shipyards launched vessels to sail the seven seas. Finally, Paul meets the last salmon net fisherman on the river and learns how nets were used to catch the fish, which were then packed in ice and sent by rail to London.

Designing the Hebrides
Banjo and his team are on South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. They’ve been called in to help crofters DJ and Lindsay, whose family have lived and worked the land there for generations. The couple want to turn their garage into a shop to sell their produce from. The dull breezeblock building has no character or charm, so Banjo has to work from scratch to transform this empty space. But with a budget of only £4,000, will he pull off his homestead kitchen design vision.
